I found some extra yams in my kitchen so I decided to make a winter dessert. Its perfect for winter, warm and sweet. It's crazy how just yams, coconut milk, brown sugar, and pandan can make this awesome dessert. The smell is great too, it makes my mouth water just thinking about it! Biji Salak is a popular traditional dessert from Java that you have to try.
Here's another winter dessert called Wedang Ronde. It's a lot more colorful but just as tasty. Each little ball is filled with sweet peanut, but you can always change that.
